Times Table Answers

Yes, Repeated

Yes repeated 100 times below, in one selectable block. The buttons rebuild it at 1000 or 10000 copies, the download button saves it as a text file, and the box takes any other word.

Repeat it 100, 1000 or 10,000 times

100 copies — 399 characters.

Three letters, four characters

Each copy is the word plus the space that joins it to the next, so the block runs four characters per copy and finishes one short. That makes 100 copies 399 characters, one under 4 × 100.

Copies Characters
100 399
1,000 3,999
10,000 39,999

What fits where

A short word goes a long way in a message box. 500 copies fit a single 2,000-character Discord message, at 1,999 characters. A 160-character text segment carries 40 copies. The 280-character limit on X allows 70.

The 10,000-copy block is the one with a hard edge. At 39,999 characters it will not fit in an Excel cell, which stops at 32,767 characters, so a spreadsheet is the wrong place to build or store it. The how to repeat a word page covers the formula version and where that limit bites.

What the block gets used for

Mostly emphasis, in a group chat where one yes reads as lukewarm. It is also handy for filling a form field to see how much text it will accept before it complains, and for padding a draft to a word count: 100 copies is exactly 100 words, and 1,000 copies is exactly 1,000.

The opposite answer sits next door on no repeated, which is shorter again at three characters a copy. For a whole sentence, use the box on repeat text.
